Satellites - An Amateur
Radio
Group
Initially started in 1986 as a splinter group of the Scarborough Amateur Radio Club, a group of Retired hams decided to get together once a week to discuss items of interest, query others about their challenges, and speak of their accomplishments. These web pages reflect this interest.

Satellites Membership rules.
Privileges of a Senior member.
Various members of the Satellites club participate in other endevours like distributed computing. There are projects that fold proteins in an effort to find cures for a large number of human diseases. Other DF projects help the scientific community solve big number crunching problems.
The first SARC splinter group of "retired" amateur radio gentlemen called themselves the Senators. Their meeting objectives and style is different from our own so I'm told.
